Spirit Awakening is so very grateful for the tremendous support of The California Wellness Foundation - for believing in the children, teens and young adults entrusted to our care. With their support, Spirit Awakening has been able to expand our programs to serve more children and young adults, strengthen our infrastructure.

Additionally, through the support of The California Wellness Foundation, Spirit Awakening has been able to:

  • Take 20 Spirit Awakening participants to the historical land of Ghana, W. Africa on a living history tour wherein the visiting youth were able to connect to a deeper meaning of their lives and to their purpose. We also volunteered and took supplies to children’s centers like St. Anne's orphanage for babies and children.

  • Create and sustain key personnel positions

  • Create this current new website!
